Rule 258: Arguing that a history book is wrong is completely acceptable.

As one who majored in history at University I’d have to day this is a given.
Rule 375: No matter who you are, what you look like, where you come from, who you’re related from, what class you are, always remember that Captain Jack Harkness would sleep with you.

I’m thinking it’s a bit more like. “You don’t count, but I can make you count and no one will know.”
I fucking love this man SO FUCKING MUCH.New interview with ABC now on you tube. So sweet hearing him sing at the end.
Oh God… he said U2. I know pretty much everyone loves U2… but still.
This man is invaluable. Let’s elect him King of the World and kick back to watch him fix things so everything works.
I love this special. X3
Peter Davison is probably my favorite classic Doctor and seeing he and David Tennant working together is amazing. The two Doctors really work together quite well, and you can really tell the contrast in personality. Ten’s sillier and more scatterbrained personality versus Five’s more serious and collected one.
Also, you gotta love The Doctor fanboying over his past self. It’s so adorable. XD
And then of course there’s the fact that (whether they knew it at filming or not…) Davison is Tennant’s father-in-law.
“Sexuality was a very powerful tool then. I keep my character’s homosexuality secret because you are so open to blackmail. It necessitates a certain amount of secretiveness, which goes hand in hand with spying. We talked about the idea that Guillam would have been a frozen child at one of the military public schools and there would be a distance between him and his parents, partly because of the work he was involved in. Guillam is in love with a man who’s older than him, and Smiley is another sort of father figure.” x
Benedict Cumberbatch in Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy (2011)
Fantastic interpretation of the original character.Very different from the novel, but amazing.
Benedict Cumberbatch nailed the role.
Wait what? One more thing I didn’t understand about this movie. I need to read the book before watching it again. I was too confused about everything else to even consider the sexuality of a character.
